Festive Opening Hours 2024
As the year draws to a close, we want to take a moment to thank every one of you for making 2024 an incredible ride. Whether you've brought a new...
READ THE STORYWe ended the summer with a bunch of Birmingham rebels at The Juke.
If you haven’t heard of York Road in Kings Heath, then let us set the scene. You leave the hustle and bustle of Birmingham City Centre, head just around the corner from Mutt’s HQ, and follow the sound of music and good times. It’s not just the locals that make the unique vibes of these suburbs a hang out hot spot, it’s also the hard-working business owners with a love for the city and the people in it.
Above the door of The Juke says - “We are here because you were there”. This sentiment speaks volumes for the spirit of York Road and we wanted in on that!
The York Road Rebels event was a celebration of Birmingham brands and businesses, an all-day event to share our love of Birmingham, Bikes, and Beer. York Road Rebels wasn’t just for those who ride but for those who support independent, this great city, and to ofcourse talk grease, gears, and Sabbath.
What else do Brummies do?
We rode up to York Road with a Mongrel, all-back Akita, and Gloss Grey FSR in tow. Set up a pop-up HQ with full-time rebels, Punks and Chancers in the home of Black Market Barbers. Koba Ko dished out ramen to the good people and we partied into the night.
Attic Brewery came through with the goods and let us make over their Hazy IPA Intuition for the event, but why this beer you ask?
“This beer is for all the York Road Rebels who revel in the out-of-city center vibrance. For the Rebels who are proud to be a little bit rough around the edges, but soft at heart. The ones who will welcome you no matter who you are. The ones who carve their own paths. Who will happily defy the norm & those who just really like good beer.”
We had a blast ending the summer spreading the word of Mutt Motorcycles and other Birmingham businesses’ for the locals to be proud of and of course, showing off the Black Metal made just a stone’s throw away from York Road.
Until next time!
